This course is meant to raise your awareness in cross-cultural communication so that you would be well-prepared when meeting with people from different cultural backgrounds, not only foreigners but also those from different regions. You will be able to cope with misunderstanding or failure in communication once you learn how language and culture are related. All of you are encouraged to post your comments and exchange your opinions on the forum/web board to make the most of this course. I hope you will gain more knowledge and understanding about this matter and enjoy your studies all along:)







NOTE: There will be no display of points for each task in this course until grading is done, around the end of the semester. Always remember that plagiarism will be penalized so you have to write all answers in your own words. If you get some information from the Internet, don't forget to give references.
