Dear super juniors
First of all, may I join Ajarn Jaraswat in welcoming you to the 14111 course.
I'm just one of your super seniors. I graduated three years ago and in the past I paid my visits to different Forum Boards from time to time, trying to give all my juniors some opinions which I believed would be beneficial to them. Unfortunately, I was very busy with too many things during the past year that I seemingly disappeared from the Forum Boards. During my absence, I however couldn't help occasionally taking a look on what was happening on this and that Forum Boards.
Today, I just want to tell you, the same way I used to tell my juniors in different batches, that 14111 is the most important course for STOU's English major students, because 14111 is not only the "foundation course" for the study of your succeeding online courses but also the beneficial course that would give you some practical guidelines on how you can have the skills for your English language study by your own self.
You may not truly understand what I've just told you, but I believe one day many of you would do with your own realisation.
Best wishes to all of you always,
Ekkawit

Re: Welcome to the Most Important Course for English Major Students
Dear teacher and Khun Ekkawit P,
Thanks so much for your kind assistance. I don't find the lessons to be too difficult. However, I'm madly confused with the instructions on what to do. Having to click so many links, I often fail to find the lessons and the tasks. I worry that I might easily miss certain tasks. I would be grateful if you would kindly support me in these matters.

Dear Khun Tansy
Really glad to hear something from a member of the current batch krub, Khun Tansy. From looking at your message writing, I also believe that you won’t find the lessons to be difficult as you’ve said. However, in addition to what I said earlier that this course would be very beneficial to English major students like you, there are several other aspects as well.
For instance, in your case of having a considerable level of knowledge of English, you can share your knowledge with your course mates on the Forum Board and through Tasks 2, 3 and 4 (with your team members). As I used to say on various Forum Boards that I believe sharing and giving are among the best things we human beings can do to each other na krub.
Regarding your concern about the difficulty in finding the tasks and/or different steps to work on the tasks, I can assure you that it won’t take you any long period of time to become familiar with these matters. They are just in the process of learning how to, that’s all
You can do it very well.
Best wishes always,
Ekkawit

Dear Khun 6010005657
Regarding the difficulty contacting your team mates, I would say it's as simple as 1, 2, 3, ... or a, b, c, d, ..., so you shouldn't worry much na krub.
As I have also learned from Ajarn Jaraswat in one of the threads on this Forum Board that there are more than 500 students (from various walks of life) in this course during this semester, I believe a huge percentage of the students would similarly struggle to learn the process of online study so it would certainly take a lot of time for such familiarisation.
Therefore, my advice would then be that you give your course mates and team members some more time. In the case that some team mates or course mates can't adapt to the online learning system, they might decide to quit their online study. Ajarn(s) would then have to re-assign some new team members for you. Even though I wouldn't want to see it happen, it seems unavoidable.
Just try to learn everything from this course and, if possible, to share what you know with your team mates and course mates.
It's still a long way to go, but hope you enjoy this course and your study at our English programme na krub.
Best wishes always,
Ekkawit
