I would like to ask you 14216 module 8 task 1 , When I do module 8 task 1 , I need to use present tense form or past tense form.

You can follow the pattern in each question or the content in the dialog itself. However, for this kind of task, I believe it doesn't matter much if you use present or past as long as you can express your thoughts and convey the right meaning or give responses that corresspond to each question. Don't worry too much about the grammar.
