In Module2 Task1 Can I write more than 250 words?

Because the article that I written has more than 250 words, but I was deducted points for this reason, Does it make sense?

I understand your frustration. However, word count matters a lot in work and academic settings. For example, a thesis as well as an academic paper requires a certain length (e.g. 15000 words, 2000 words). Writing with word limit/word count in mind is an art and requires training.
Consider the following sentence which is grammatically correct.
My past experience of learning English was very boring because it was only in the classroom.
It can be written this way:
Learning English in classroom was boring. OR I found that learning English in classroom was boring.
The use of past tense means the action of learning English and the writer's feeling happened.
The second case is related to the ideas expressed in each paragraph. Some writers write more than the required length because their ideas are scattered. A paragraph should contain one main idea. If a paragraph is on your experience in studying Enlgish, make sure you focus on this. Do not put other irrelevant details such as how English will help you in your career or studies.
