Grades for your Module 14 cause and effect essays have been posted in d4lp. I will try to post the comments in your team box tomorrow (18 July). As we're quite close to the end of the semester, I won't post student sentences with errors to correct. However, you need to be familiar with the ways of expressing cause and effect presented in the book for the exam. Be sure you know how to use phrases like "lead to", "result in", "bring about", etc. Although you might have found the assignment for Module 14 harder than for Module 11 (grades were definitely lower!), the exam material is probably the other way around - the target language for letter writing is more challenging than for cause and effect. For practice, try the mock test.
Edit: Comments should be posted on 20 July.

Hello Sonny,
I've just sent you a private message in response. One of your group's problems was the fact that some of your text was about environmental problems, not social ones. We wanted you to focus on society because most of the examples in the textbook are about the environment. The purpose was to have you apply cause and effect language to a different area. Quite a few other groups also did this, so you were not alone!
