I'm not sure if it's a good idea for us to give you an answer key for this type of material. (Would the authors be happy with that or not - who knows?) Moreover, most of these exercises are not difficult as long as you take the trouble to use your dictionary! For example, you may not know that the adjective form of "affection" (noun) is "affectionate". But you can easily discover that by checking a good monolingual dictionary. In my view, the whole point of this material is to give you some practice in dictionary use. Providing you with an answer key would make it too easy.

That said, if there are certain items that you just can't figure out, please post them here and we can try to help. For example, sometimes several different suffixes might occur with one root, and you need to decide from context which fits - that can be difficult. Good luck!

Although I may not have caught all the mistakes, here are some comments.

A person who is unreliable can’t be relied on or trusted. An incurable disease can’t be cured – there is no cure for it. I would use “non-smoker” only to describe a person, not a place, although perhaps this is possible in some specific context, like a non-smoking car on a train. Also, be aware that non-smoker is a noun, not an adjective. “Primitive” is correct.

The suffix –able is what linguists call “productive”. This means you can attach it to almost any verb with the meaning “able to be Xed”. Therefore you won’t find all the possible words with –able in dictionaries. However, there are cases where –able isn’t a good fit with a certain verb. For example, we wouldn’t say something is “poisonable”. The only derived adjective that works here is “poisonous”, meaning not something that is vulnerable to poison, but something that can poison others.

For negating adjectives, the correct form is “inexpensive”. With –able, I believe un- is often correct, although there are cases like “indistinguishable”. Possibly -ible tends to take in- as well. You can even have two parallel forms like “illegible” and “unreadable”, both meaning “unable to be read”. It’s possible that you can find learners’ dictionaries that give you the correct way to negate each adjective (in other words, whether you use in-, un-, or non-). A good resource for this would be useful!

The Lesson 4 exercise does seem difficult, and context clues are important. The air conditioner was installed (put in the car, which otherwise wasn’t changed), but the hotel was transformed (changed in a more fundamental way.) Several of these involve collocations, like “telephoto lens” and “automatic transmission”. Another collocation is “interstate highway”, or a road that goes between states (a different term would probably be used outside the USA.) I think “interstate trip” is a bit awkward, but it might be okay.
